Huron Valley Lutheran High School is a secondary school in Westland, Michigan affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, serving the Southeast Michigan Area.
HVL provides exceptional academics, Christian values, and numerous opportunities for students to be involved in sports and other extracurriculars. Students at HVL consistently test well above the state average for standardized test scores, and flourish under the personal attention they are able to get from their teachers. 95% of graduates attend college, many with scholarships and grants. In addition to a course catalog that includes such electives as Business Accounting and Journalism, students are able to study whatever interests them with access to over 200 online classes and Advanced Placement courses. International students are provided with unique cultural experiences which may include snowboarding, attending concerts, and fishing.
